CHI-SA 2001 South African Human-Computer Interaction Conference |
| 10 - 12 September 2001 Conference Center University of Pretoria Pretoria, South Africa CHI-SA 2001 was South Africa's second Human-Computer Interaction Conference. Although smaller than the 2000 conference, we have seen a significant increase in quality of presentations and this made it yet another step in the process of growing the field of HCI and creating a forum for the exchange of ideas and information about HCI in Africa. Once again a lot of hard work went into this event and the organisers and sponsors wish to express a sincere wish that all participants and delegates will continue to make the entire community of computer users and developers aware that there is more to computing than meets the eye.
